Este fin de semana se anunciaron las nominaciones de los Cinema Eye, premios de gran relevancia en el sector documental y que este año cumplen su 7ª edición. Como era de esperar, y siguiendo el patrón de los homólogos IDA Awards, The Act of Killing y Stories We Tell se alzan como principales favoritos. A éstos se les podría unir Cutie and the Boxer, producción presentada en Sundance que ha ido amasando un buen puñado de premios a lo largo del curso. No hay que descartarlo de cara al Oscar. Los ganadores se anunciarán a comienzo de enero.
