Nominaciones de la 35ª edición de los Gotham Awards
Los Gotham Film Awards 2025 han revelado sus nominaciones con Una batalla tras otra de Paul Thomas Anderson estableciendo un récord histórico de seis nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película, mejor dirección, mejor guion adaptado y las interpretaciones de reparto para Benicio Del Toro y Teyana Taylor, además de intérprete revelación para Chase Infiniti. La categoría de mejor película se amplió este año de cinco a diez nominados, incluyendo títulos como If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, Familiar Touch, Hamnet, Sorry, Baby, The Testament of Ann Lee, Train Dreams, Bugonia, East of Wall y Lurker. If I Had Legs I'd Kick You de Mary Bronstein logró cuatro nominaciones en mejor película, dirección, guion original e interpretación principal para Rose Byrne. Entre las películas internacionales destacan Un simple accidente de Jafar Panahi y No Other Choice de Park Chan-wook, ambas con tres nominaciones cada una. Las categorías actorales, que desde 2021 son neutras en cuanto al género, incluyen a Jessie Buckley, Lee Byung-hun, Rose Byrne, Ethan Hawke, Jennifer Lawrence, Wagner Moura, Josh O'Connor, Amanda Seyfried y Tessa Thompson en interpretación principal. En reparto figuran Jacob Elordi por Frankenstein, Adam Sandler por Jay Kelly y Wunmi Mosaku por Sinners, entre otros. Los nominados fueron seleccionados por comités de críticos, periodistas y programadores de festivales, mientras que los ganadores serán determinados por jurados de la industria cinematográfica. La ceremonia de la 35ª edición de los Gotham Awards se celebrará el 1 de diciembre en Cipriani Wall Street de Nueva York.
